As part of a transformative addition to the renowned contemporary art gallery and artist residency, CGC is constructing a new rooftop event space atop Artpace’s second-floor concrete roof. The project centers on a large structural steel canopy designed to support an integrated solar panel system.

Key features include a spacious open-air dining and social area, cantilevered decks, conditioned restrooms, bars, storage rooms, a media wall, and flexible seating. Additional elements such as pipe and cable railing, a controlled lighting system, and integrated audio-visual equipment create a versatile venue for both private events and public programs—blending architectural innovation with Artpace’s creative mission.
