As President of CGC, William (Bill) Cleary provides strategic leadership across all areas of the company, ensuring the shared vision, values, and purpose remain at the core in tactfully steering the company into the future. With nearly two decades of industry experience, foreign and domestic, he brings a depth of expertise to operations and internal functions such as accounting, finance, marketing, and business development.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, William grew up in the company, spending every spare day on jobsites—working in the trenches and on the scaffold with the crews. His father and those early hands-on experiences taught him the value of hard work, dedication to project success, and respect for the movers and builders alike who build it. These lessons continue to shape his leadership and his approach to building strong, capable teams in all departments.

William is driven by the daily challenge of bringing all the moving parts together—aligning people, process, and purpose—to create an environment where team members can succeed both professionally and personally. What inspires William most is helping individuals grow, watching them thrive in their roles, and delivering results that lead to a positive, collaborative building experience for clients and design partners.

When he’s not at work, William enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids. Whether it’s a weekend in the hill country or a trip to the coast, you’ll often find him enjoying the outdoors, or at a ballgame cheering on one of the kids.
William loves what he does because it allows him to help orchestrate a team effort that turns vision into reality—building great places and spaces as imagined by passionate clients and talented design teams. He believes that being a pivotal role in the process, especially when it involves great architecture and a shared commitment to excellence, is both energizing and deeply rewarding.

As Vice President and Executive Project Manager at CGC, Paul leads the company’s construction operations, overseeing every phase from planning to execution. He ensures optimal coordination of resources, closely monitors job progress, and proactively integrates evolving industry standards and best practices to maintain excellence across all job sites. Since joining CGC in 2017, Paul has played a key role in advancing the company’s mission and strengthening its culture of unity and innovation.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Paul has 14 years of experience in the construction industry. His work ethic was shaped early on by his parents and grandparents, whose quiet commitment to servant leadership left a lasting impression. That same mindset guides Paul’s approach today—leading with humility, building trust, and focusing on the long-term impact of his work.
Paul draws daily inspiration from memories of his grandmother, who had a love for gardening and gave selflessly to her community. Whether tending to her flower beds at home, or planting trees she’d never sit beneath, she embodied the idea of creating beauty without seeking credit. That quiet dedication continues to influence Paul’s leadership and reminds him that each day’s work can shape a better future for others.

When he’s not at work, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and kids or working on projects around the house. Whether on the jobsite or at home, he takes pride in building things that last.

Ben Cleary, Vice President and Superintendent, has been a key part of CGC since returning from the Navy in 2013, bringing hands-on leadership and a deep family legacy in construction to every project he oversees. With over a decade of experience and a lifetime of exposure to the industry, Ben plays a key leadership role in San Antonio based field operations, guiding teams and ensuring every project is executed with precision, integrity, and care.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Ben grew up around construction—his father founded Charlie and Company, the company that evolved into CGC, where Ben first learned the discipline and responsibility the trade demands. Under his father’s strict but formative tutelage, Ben developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, teamwork, and perseverance—values that continue to guide him today.

What drives Ben each day is the opportunity to advance a tradition of construction excellence, while serving his community in a meaningful way. He finds inspiration working alongside the CGC team, where a shared vision for success and mutual support define the culture. He takes pride in leading by example and sharing his knowledge with others.

Outside of work, Ben likes to spend quality time with his son and daughter, often exploring the outdoors and instilling in them the principles that have guided his own life and career.

Ben thrives on the challenge and reward of building, from breaking ground to the final walkthrough. He finds fulfillment in solving problems, seeing projects evolve day by day, and mentoring others in the field. He also enjoys experiencing primitive building techniques merged with the ever-growing technological techniques and witnessing great craftsmanship from different trades. For him, every day is a chance to build something better—both professionally and personally.

Austin Dyer, Vice President and Executive Project Manager joined CGC General Contractors in 2023, bringing nearly two decades of construction experience, leadership, and a deep-rooted commitment to hard work. In his role, Austin leads CGC’s Dallas-Fort Worth operations, project execution, and team development with a practical, hands-on approach shaped by years in the field and in service.

Originally from Farmers Branch and raised in Allen, Texas, Austin began working in construction at age 17. His work ethic was forged early, working alongside his father, who instilled the belief that you should work as hard as you can for as long as you can. That foundation was further strengthened during his service with the U.S. Navy Seabees, where he embraced the motto “Can Do” while building forward operating bases for infantry units in Afghanistan—working seven days a week for nearly a year. Those experiences continue to ground his perspective and shape his resilient, positive approach to each day’s challenges.

Austin is driven by the love he has for his family and the desire to provide them with a good life. He takes pride in setting an example for his daughters, demonstrating what dedication, effort, and a good attitude can accomplish.
When he’s not at work, Austin can be found on his hobby farm with his wife and two daughters, raising cattle and chickens, tending produce, and living out the values he was raised with. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and building—always working with his hands and staying close to the land.

Austin loves what he does because he was born to build. For him, construction isn’t just a profession, it’s a passion. He finds deep satisfaction in seeing a project through to completion, no matter the size, and finds joy in the process itself. Whether in tough conditions or long hours, Austin thrives on the camaraderie, craftsmanship, and the reward of delivering something lasting for clients and loved ones alike.

As Controller at CGC General Contractors, Melissa oversees the company’s financial planning, job costing, compliance, and internal controls. She plays a key role in supporting informed decision-making and long-term growth, working closely with project managers and the executive leadership team to ensure financial clarity and accountability across every aspect of the business.

A San Antonio, Texas native and proud graduate of the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business (Go Coogs), Melissa has been in the construction industry for nearly seven years. She began her career with CGC in 2018, and has grown within the company, building her expertise and leadership through dedication, hard work, and a commitment to continuous learning. Her work ethic is rooted in a deep internal drive to succeed and create a meaningful life for her family. From a young age, she felt the pressure—not as a burden, but as motivation—to take ownership of her path. That mindset instilled in her a strong sense of responsibility, resilience, and determination to follow through, no matter the challenge.

Melissa finds daily inspiration in her husband and young son, who fuel her commitment to building a better future. Her drive comes from wanting to give her son every opportunity to grow, learn, and pursue his dreams. His happiness and potential keep her focused and energized.

Outside of work, Melissa can often be found cheering on her husband—a high school baseball and football coach—at his games, with their son in tow. She’s also actively involved in supporting their local school district, investing her time and energy in the community that supports her family.

Melissa loves what she does because she knows her work directly supports the success of each project. Whether it’s a new school, public facility, or private development, she takes pride in contributing to meaningful outcomes that benefit communities. By bringing organization and transparency to the financial side of construction, she helps ensure that CGC operates efficiently, responsibly, and with long-term stability in mind.

Travis Miller joined CGC General Contractors in 2021, bringing with him a lifetime connection to the construction industry and a passion for building strong teams and even stronger structures. As Project Manager, Travis plays a key role in planning and executing projects with precision, while fostering lasting relationships with trade partners and team members alike.

Born in the Rio Grande Valley and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Travis has been surrounded by construction from an early age, as most of his immediate family has worked in the industry. That upbringing shaped not just his career path, but his identity. For Travis, construction isn’t just a job—it’s a way of life.

What motivates Travis each day is being part of a team that’s driven to grow, improve, and set the standard for general contracting in the region. He takes pride in contributing to CGC’s success from the ground level and values the camaraderie he’s built with colleagues and partners throughout his career in San Antonio. He finds it especially rewarding to reconnect with familiar faces on job sites—people who remember the work, the integrity, and the CGC experience.
When he’s not managing projects, you can find Travis poolside with his family or fishing along the coast in Corpus Christi. Whether on the job or off the clock, he brings the same steady dedication and appreciation for the process. For Travis, it’s all about building something meaningful—together.

As General Superintendent at CGC, Casey plays a vital role in overseeing field operations, managing schedules, and ensuring that each project is delivered with precision, safety, and craftsmanship. Since joining CGC in 2022, Casey has brought a steady, hands-on leadership style shaped by more than a decade of experience and a lifelong connection to the construction industry.

Originally from Gilmer, Texas, Casey has spent his entire life around construction—from pushing brooms as a kid to leading complex job sites today. With 13 years of experience in the field, he brings both technical expertise and a strong sense of accountability to every project. His work ethic is built on years of learning by doing, and his leadership is rooted in a deep respect for the process and the people who make it happen.

Casey is motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact every day—both through the work itself and through the mentorship of others. He believes in continuous learning and takes pride in motivating teams to grow, improve, and bring their best to the jobsite.

When he’s not at work, Casey enjoys quality time with his wife and their two children. Whether they’re relaxing at home or spending time outdoors, “chillin with the fam” is where he feels most grounded.
